Cooperation while building yachts

The letter of Intent , recently signed by Professor Maciej Taczała, the Dean
of the Faculty of Maritime Technology and Transport, West Pomeranian University of Technology based in Szczecin (second right), and Michał Pokorski, CEO at Technologie Tworzyw Sztucznych Sp. z o.o. (second left) expressed
the will to cooperate as regards education and research in designing
and building yachts.

The cooperation is expected to improve the quality of education at the faculty.
The letter of intent also provides for implementing joint promotion of the parties
and facilitating the flow of information between TTS as a prospective employer
and graduates of the yacht construction course.

Technologie Tworzyw Sztucznych, based near Goleniów, is a leader in manufacturing composite materials in Poland. The company provides services, such as advice giving and manufacturing of composites. It specialises in building sea-going yachts
of 62 feet in length based on the lamination technology. The main customer is HanseYachts, the sea industry mogul.

At the moment, TTS employs nearly 600 qualified people.
