On Saturday 5th September the Goleniów-based Crown Packaging Poland Sp. z o.o. celebrated its 70th anniversary as a company manufacturing steel sheet packaging.
On that day, the company at Maszewska Street was open for visitors. The event attracted several hundred people who were guided around production halls by designated employees. Visitors could see tremendous changes that have taken place since the company moved from its previous location at Mikołajczyka Street.
After sightseeing of the company, Deputy Mayor Tomasz Banach presented to Wiesław Bączek, Director of Crown, a gift showing that the production of packaging in Goleniów enjoyed a long history. It was a bottle once produced for one of local breweries. The bottle was empty, since it is forbidden to bring alcohol to the company.
