The board of LM Wind Power Blades (Poland) Sp. z o.o. decided to support
the Hospital Medical Centre in Goleniów. A major sum of money has been transferred to the account of the hospital to purchase a tomograph.
The equipment is necessary to provide speedy diagnosis in emergency situations. The total cost of the tomograph is in excess of PLN 800 thousand. While counting
on the financial support from businesses operating in the country of Goleniów,
the board of the Centre started discussions with individual companies.
Companies show significant understanding of the need to purchase the tomograph, and the manufacturer of wind turbine blades is one of the first companies to provide their financial support for the hospital.
From the beginning of its activity in the Municipality of Goleniów, LM Wind Power
has been involved in a number of initiatives supporting the local community. We did the same when we received a request from the Goleniów medical centre, said Krzysztof Krzyżanowski, Director at LM Goleniów. We are happy that our company is considered not only a reliable employer, but also a responsible citizen of this “small fatherland”. We are not trying to gain fame, we just want to help.
