On Friday 9th December, the Governor of the Westpomeranian Region issued
a building permit for developing two stretches of the S6 expressway:
Goleniów-Nowogard and Płoty-Kiełpino.
The administrative decision regarding the road investment becomes effective
on signing and the construction works may start anytime.
This means that land required for the investment can be taken over immediately
and preparation started, including tree cutting along the future route of the expressway. According to the schedule, civil engineering works should start in spring, but the exact commencement date will be decided by Budimex, the contractor
for the project.
