Eleven pallets with toys for children from homes based in the region left
Prime Cargo this morning. Toys have already reached their destinations
and their new owners.
Toys are new, fully suitable but they had their packaging damaged and thus could not be sold. A company based in the Industrial Park decided to donate those toys
to children who cannot count on gifts from their parents.
This time gifts went to children from homes in Białogard, Gryfice, Kamień Pomorski, Karlino, Łobez, Recz, Świdwin, Trzebiatów, Warnowo and Wisełka. Altogether,
one and a half thousand toys have been distributed.
How has it started? – the answer is given by Zbigniew Kempski, Operations Director at Prime Cargo Poland Sp. z o.o. We have been dealing with the warehousing business in the Goleniów Industrial Park. One of our clients is a company selling toys on Scandinavian markets. In 2015, when returns accumulated and the toys could not be sold again, instead of their disposal we decided to donate those toys to families and institutions that could not effort to buy them. Our employees, local social care centre and local NGOs selected those institutions.
Since the shipment was very urgent, toys were delivered by Santa Claus himself.
