Jacek Frydrych, Director of Stylepit Poland Sp. z o.o., encourages all employees in the Goleniów Industrial Park to joint blood donors.
A mobile blood collection facility is going to stop at no. 40 Prosta Street on Thursday 20th April at 12:00-16:00. Then, people will be able to donate blood in a unique company, since distinguished Goleniów based athletes and musicians confirmed their participation in the event.
Everyone between 18 to 65 years of age and weighing at least 50 kg may become
an honorary blood donor. On a preceding day, a prospective donor should drink
2 litres of liquids, e.g. mineral water, juice, but no alcoholic beverages, and on the donation day, a donor should appear fresh, relaxed and after having a light meal.
In the West Pomerania, similarly to the rest of Poland, blood resources are scarce.
In fact, the shortage applies to all blood types.
