From a procrastinator to the leader

Several managers from Goleniów-based companies enjoyed their time during the Christmas Meeting for Investors and Exporters on 19th December last year. As usually, the event was organised by the Investors’ and Exporters’ Assistance Center, the Marshal’s Office, at the premises of the Szczecin’s ‘Opera
at the Castle’.

The Goleniów Industrial Park was represented by managers from Bestseller, Dancoal, Faymonville, HG Poland, LM Wind Power, Oscar Technology, Prime Cargo and Rasch. Attendees also included representatives of the Goleniów-based eBusiness Cluster of West Pomerania and the Deputy Mayor Tomasz Banach.
The former was the Banquette Partner.

The Marshal of the Westepomeranian Region Olgierd Geblewicz thanked entrepreneurs for their contribution to the economic growth of West Pomerania.
In the past several years, the economy of the region has changed dramatically. From a ‘procrastinator’, which was the last in the majority of business rankings,
the region became one of the most rapidly developing regions in Poland with a single digit unemployment.

The music performance that highlighted the event was given by Singin’ Birds, a trio
of female vocalists, exercising a close-harmony singing that is linked to music styles of the early 20th century. The trio consists of Joanna Czarkowska – soprano, Dominika Kasprzycka –Gałczyńska – mezzosoprano and Dominika Dulny – contralto. All of them have graduated from the Fryderyk Chopin Music Schools in Warsaw.
