The building of the Institution for Professional Activity has been progressing rapidly. The project will provide jobs for adult people with disabilities
from the Municipality of Goleniów and not only.
The IPA is developed at a municipal plot in the Goleniów Industrial Park. Ground has been elevated and the foundations are already in place for the entire complex
of buildings. At the moment, building of walls is in progress. In November, the roof should be ready and winter is designated for works inside the building.
The investment should be completed by the end of next year, and in January 2019 the Institution for Professional Activity should start its regular operation. It is going
to provide jobs for 115 people with disabilities and 35 fully able people to provide assistance and additional service. Not only will the IPA provide jobs for people who so far could hardly find any, but it will also provide so much needed rehabilitation.
The establishment will operate on a commercial basis while using financial support from the Disability Fund (PFRON). It will provide a variety of services, including laundry for workwear, carwash, catering, cleaning, and maintenance of green areas.
The cost of the investment is PLN 16.5 million, including PLN 9 m of EU funding
from the European Regional Development Fund under the Regional Operational Programme for West Pomerania Province in 2014-2020, Priority Axis 9. Public Infrastructure, Measure 9.2. Social Infrastructure.
