Every day, about 400 people use the free public transportation between Goleniów and the GIP. The average occupancy rate is 70%. The demand is there so the bus line to the GIP will continue operating, says Mayor Robert Krupowicz.
On Friday Tomasz Banach, the Deputy Mayor, met with bus drivers working
on the line to the GIP and the owner of the transport company. Drivers expressed their concerns regarding the timetable and proposed changes to cover more people and provide an improved service. Changes suggested will be reflected
in the timetable from 1st January this year and further details will be announced once a new timetable is ready. Changes apply chiefly to hours of the first morning bus
and afternoon buses.
