Hanse 315, a family motorboat with cabin, has been appointed in its category the European Yacht of 2016 during boot Düsseldorf, the largest yachting exhibition in the world. The hull was manufactured in Goleniów.
As it was highlighted, Hanse 315 has a seductive shape of the hull. The latter was made by Goleniów based Technologie Tworzyw Sztucznych Sp. z o.o. which manufactures hulls of yachts and provides their partial fitting, whereas the final touches are given in Greifswald, Germany. From this year on, the Goleniów plant will provide full fitting and equipment for sailing boats of up to 35 feet. It is also possible that in the future the Goleniów plant will produce larger and complete yachts.
The company has been operating in Goleniów since 2004. In 2008, it moved to a new facility developed in the Goleniów Industrial Park. In 2014, it manufactured 500 hulls of various sizes and value nearly PLN 70 million.
The European Yacht of the Year has been awarded for 12 years now by journalists from eleven European countries. Each judge had an opportunity to test each boat
in five categories for two weeks in two different locations: in La Rochelle, France,
and Santa Margherita, Italy, respectively in September and October. Standards
for yachts nominated this year were particularly stringent. After the final verdict was made, the decision was announced during an Oscar like Gala on the night opening the exhibition.
