48 new lamp posts lit a cycling path leading towards Lubczyna between
the road flyover and Pol-Glass.
Further plans also include a half kilometre stretch of the cycling path on the road flyover above S3 expressway. The fitting required a consent of the General Directorate of National Roads and Motorways, the administrator of the expressway.
Additionally, lamp posts were placed along the road to Lubczyna to illuminate yet another stretch of a cycling path planned on the right side of the road. Lamp posts are placed 3 m from the carriageway which leaves 2 m for the cycling path (similar
to that between Goleniów and industrial park). The building of the cycling path can start immediately after attracting external funding for the project.
The fitting of lamp posts was funded by the Municipality of Goleniów.
