The previously announced construction of a hotel for workers is going to start in the heart of the Goleniów Industrial Park. Today, the tender has been completed for the purchase of a plot of 0.5 ha.
The purchasing party is GIP1 Sp. z o.o. (in organisation), which represents Norwegian Core Properties AS. The presentation of the initial concept for the hotel was presented to investors operating in the GIP during an information meeting on 19th September. Since that time, the investor has been holding meetings with the largest employers in Łozienica to facilitate the design concept development for the first stage of the investment.
The first building to be developed under the project is going to provide accommodation for about a hundred temporary employees from GIP-based companies. Finally, the hotel is to provide improved standard accommodation
for 320 people. Should the project succeed, the investor will consider further investment in the GIP on other plots.
‘Not only does the hotel in the industrial park meet accommodation demand
for employees and employers, but also it will provide a competitive advantage for us comparing to other industrial parks in the region. The operation of the Institution
for Professional Activity, a hotel, and soon a kindergarten should help us to attract new investors and new employees to Goleniów’, commented Robert Krupowicz,
the Mayor of Goleniów.
