On Thursday 23rd April, a group of Polish journalists visited Goleniów and the Goleniów Industrial Park. It was their first stop during their visit to the Westpomeranian Region.
After arrival, journalists specialising in economic affairs and representing such media as Polityka, Rzeczpospolita, Newsweek, Polskie Radio, TTV and several business web-based portals had breakfast with Robert Krupowicz, the Mayor, and Tomasz Banach, the Deputy Mayor. Journalists listened to information about the development of Goleniów, achievements and problems faced, watched a presentation on the Goleniów Industrial Park delivered by Paweł Bartoszewski, representing the Municipality of Goleniów and responsible for the operation of the industrial park.
After the meeting with the Mayor and his Deputy, journalists went to see a plant of LM Wind Power manufacturing blades for wind turbines – the only such plant in Poland.
