A new road to connect the Goleniów Industrial Park and regional road no. 111 and expressway S3 is almost ready.
The building of a bridge across Ina and the main part of the road have been completed. Works still continued include the fitting of safety barriers, road shoulders and exits near the bridge. Problems are related to the fact that ground conditions are difficult, including a peat bog created by the former river bed. One of embankments settled and it is necessary to strengthen the ground. This, however, should not extend beyond the project implementation period and it is going to be completed and ready for operation in autumn.
The new road will provide better transportation within the GIP and safe access to Domastryjewo. It is also going to be an alternative road in case S3 is blocked between nodes of Goleniów-South and Goleniów-West.
